This Privacy Policy explains how Moreish Studio (“Moreish”, “we”, “our” or “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit moreish.studio (the “Site”), book a call with us, or otherwise work with us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Information we collect
Information you give us: when you email us, book a call or work with us, we collect your name, email address, business name and anything you choose to tell us about your project.
Project materials: if we work together, we receive the content, brand assets and system access you share for the project.
Information collected automatically: our website host records basic usage data, and we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to show us how visitors find and use the Site. This covers things like pages viewed, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and approximate location. We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
2. How we use information
To reply to enquiries and run the calls you book.
To plan, deliver and support the work we do for you, including invoicing.
To understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.
To meet our legal obligations.
We only send you marketing emails if you ask us to, and you can opt out at any time.
3. Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
Service providers that help us run the studio: Framer (website hosting and analytics), Calendly (call bookings), Google (email, video calls and website analytics) and Cloudflare (domain and email forwarding).
Authorities, when the law requires it.
A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or restructured.
4. Your rights
You can ask us to:
Give you access to the personal information we hold about you.
Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
Delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Stop sending you marketing.
To make a request, email hello@moreish.studio. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
5. Cookies and browser storage
The Site uses Google Analytics cookies to measure visits, and keeps two small settings in your browser: whether you have already seen the homepage intro during this visit, and whether you have switched back to your standard cursor. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The Site will still work.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires, for example for tax records.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
8. Overseas providers
Some of our service providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it to a standard comparable with the Australian Privacy Principles.
9. Children
The Site and our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
